The Crimson Alliance Universe is not built around a single book or a single storyline. It is a growing network of characters, worlds, and events that continue to expand over time. Some stories stand on their own, while others connect in ways that only become clear as you move deeper into it. What begins as one perspective gradually reveals something larger, something that is not confined to a single moment or a single path, but instead unfolds across multiple lives that intersect, diverge, and occasionally collide.
This is the beauty of building a universe versus a series or one stand-alone story.
Where It All Begins
Every story begins with a character exactly where they are at that moment in time. Not at the start of their life and not at some clearly defined beginning. Instead, they are in the middle of something already in motion. Then something happens. It may be immediate or it may take time to fully understand, but something shifts.
This is when a moment of recognition takes place. A realization forms that things are no longer the same as they were before. From there, decisions are made. Some of those decisions move them forward in the right direction. Others do not. But each choice carries weight, and each one pushes them into something new.
For some, that journey unfolds alone. For others, it brings them into contact with people they have never met or it forces them to reconnect with those they thought were long behind them. This is where their story truly begins, not with certainty or clarity, but with movement into something unknown.
The Original Seven
While many readers will come to know the Crimson Alliance as a team, the universe itself extends beyond those seven individuals. It includes others who stand alongside them, those who challenge them, and those who exist in entirely different corners of the same universe.
Some characters will only appear once while leaving a lasting impact. Others will return in ways that change the direction of everything around them. Each carries their own path, and each path adds another layer to the larger structure being built.
Joining the CAU
When you join the CAU, you experience that universe from two connected perspectives.
On Thursdays, you receive Origin transmissions delivered by Freija, introducing you to characters one at a time through two-chapter Origin stories released in sequence. These are not summaries or background notes. They are the moments that shape who these characters become, whether those moments take place before, during, or beyond the stories where you first encounter them. Over the course of sixteen weeks, you will receive all eight Origin stories, including Freija, Adrian, Lilith, Grilka, Nefertari, Kimiko, Rainstorm, and Frigid.
On Tuesdays, you receive Creator’s Corner insights from my perspective. These are not retellings of the stories, but a look into how the universe is built. Why certain characters appear when they do, how different storylines connect across time and perspective, and how the Crimson Alliance Universe continues to expand beyond any single narrative.
Joining the CAU is not simply about following what happens next. It is about understanding how and why those moments unfold at all.
